Weathered pine

• Substrate material: pine, knotty pine, knotty spruce in solid wood or slip-matched veneer with a veneer thickness of at least 0.7 mm, preferably 1 mm  
• deeply textured using an Andalon brush  
• Antique pre-stain WAV 58-20500  
• Dry for at least 3 h / 20 °C room temperature  
• Sand using a 150 grit sanding sponge to produce an effect with the hard growth rings exposed yet untreated  
• Spray on 1 x Antique stain WA 58-20506 nicely moist, without wiping  
• Dry for at least 3 h / 20 °C room temperature  
• Apply 2 x FANTASTIC-NATURA DA 48660 with intermediate sanding at 320 grit, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with Hardener DR 4071
• Dry for at least 16 h / 20 °C room temperature

• In addition to selection and texturing of the bare wood, the application quantity and sanding of the stain also have a crucial influence on the effect produced.
• PU lacquers should not be used or dried at material or room temperatures below 18 °C.
• Please sand back the PU lacquered surfaces before applying fresh lacquer and apply coatings to the sanded surfaces as soon as possible to avoid adhesion problems.
• Final hardness of the coating is achieved after one week in correct storage conditions (at least 20 °C room temperature).
• Please conduct a test coating under real conditions.
