Two-component PU acrylic resin lacquer, clear, quick-drying, high-build and thixotropic formula. A multicoat lacquer for base and top coats for open-pore and closed-pore coatings. Free from phthalate softeners and therefore also suitable for coating children's toys.

Special notes	Pre-priming is possible depending on the desired surface and substrate material, for instance using DG 4720-0001, DG 4734 or DG 4717-0005.Hardening at 5 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4074 increases the abrasion resistance and enables use even on bleached surfaces. Total layer thickness is then increased to a maximum of 400 g/m².

Procedure example

Profiled wardrobe doors in natural walnut, silk matt

Wood sanding: 150 - 180 grit

Basecoat: 2 x 80 - 100 g/m² THIXO-PUR DE 42154-0004, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4074

Intermediate drying: at least > 1 h / 20 °C

Lacquer sanding: 280 - 320 grit

Top coat: 1 x 80 - 100 g/m² THIXO-PUR DE 42154-0004, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4074

Packable after drying for at least 16 h / 20 °C
