Processing information An activator must be added to the bleaching agent prior to application: 5% (grav.) BA 811.Apply activated bleaching agent richly on wood with synthetic sponge or brush with synthetic bristles. Remove excess with wrung up sponge. Due to the intense roughening of the wood by the bleaching process, the bleached surface should be re-sanded with a sanding sponge, grit size 150. Under-dosing of activator or use of another activator type may cause surface blemishes. By contaminations such as wood dust, lacquer mist, etc., the pot life is shortened significantly. Initiating, clearly visible appearance of gas bubbles indicates the early end of usability.
Special notes Lighten by adding: water. To maintain the structure of certain kinds of wood, e.g. of walnut and cherry, we recommend bleaching with diluted bleaching agent. Mixture 1 part bleaching agent : 2 parts water. Add activator only after dilution.
