Hesse PU Basecoat DG 4741-0002 is a fast drying, two component PU acrylic resin basecoat that sands well with machines. This light fast coating can be applied to bleached wood by spraying and also by curtain coating.

Areas of application

With a suitable top coat, this PU basecoat can be used for all interior fittings and for coating a wide variety of woods in kitchens and bathrooms to achieve an open to semi-closed pore structure. When thinned, this universal product can also be used to seal the edges of MDF.

Processing information	Forced drying is possible at up to 50 °C.
Special notes	Mix with 20 % to 30 % DV 4994 thinner to apply as an MDF edge sealant beneath coloured lacquer systems. After sufficient drying and proper slight sanding, the basecoat can subsequently be coated with products of the DE 4259x(gloss level) and DE 4503x(gloss level) range, or with Hesse PU Diamond top coat DU 4294x(gloss level) for especially scratch resistant surfaces.

The coating process and the precise treatment parameters are adapted in each case to the respective application and drying conditions and can be found in the customer-specific process descriptions (surface techniques).
