Colour stain BC 85-(colour tone) for spraying and wiping off

Colour stain BC 85-(colour tone) for spraying and wiping off

Ready to use HYDRO pigment stain. Transparent to opaque stain appearances are achieved using Hesse BC colour stains. Opaque colours can be formulated, for instance according to RAL, Sikkens or NCS colour cards. Although the use of extremely fine, micronised pigments means that you obtain higher transparency and brilliance than is usual for this type of stain. The structure of the wood is covered more or less effectively depending on the depth of colour tone. This also allows you to create colour tones that are lighter that the inherent hue of the wood. The light fastness of colour stains represents the maximum that can be achieved amongst all stains. Formulated for specific species of wood.

Processing information Apply stain with some excess. Use a suitable brush to uniformly spread this excess first crosswise then along the grain. The stain should only appear slightly damp as opposed to wet after wiping. Uneven wiping leads to differences in colour tone. Strong opaque effects can be achieved by subsequent misting. Stir stains well before and during processing. The stains can be thinned with water, if required. We recommend small spray nozzle sizes for stains that are to be sprayed but not subsequently wiped. Although large spray nozzle sizes are advisable when spraying stains that are subsequently to be wiped.
Special notes Hesse stains are matched to each type of wood in terms of colour tone and application. Additional types of application and woods are available. All stains from the same range can be mixed together. Lighten by adding water. Can be tinted with colour concentrates in the range: BP 30xx, BP 3570. Priming with HYDRO lacquers can result in discolorations when using wood species with a high proportion of water-soluble wood constituents (e.g.oak). We therefore recommend a PU base coat, especially in the case of pastel or white colour tones.
