An innovative training and further education centre is being built in Löhne, in the heart of the furniture industry, and is scheduled for completion at the end of 2024. Covering 3,300 square metres, it will replicate the entire production process of a typical furniture manufacturing company for the purposes of training, retraining and further education.
Skills shortages and technological change pose a major challenge, particularly for the wood and furniture industry. The furniture industry training factory provides training based on the latest technology, integrated with digitalisation and networking in all areas. This ensures that skilled workers receive future-oriented qualifications.
In the training factory, trainees can learn about the entire production process of industrial furniture manufacturing under realistic conditions and on state-of-the-art machines. This enables training and further education that is practical and in tune with the times.
We see it as our responsibility to support the Furniture Industry Training Centre and to work together to train skilled workers for the wood and furniture industry. We provide the necessary coating materials free of charge and support the commissioning of the coating systems with our personnel. We hold regular training courses in conjunction with the Furniture Industry Training Centre.
