Real insights into everyday working life at Hesse Lignal

Welcome to Hesse Lignal

The #lackschnacker show who we are

What makes Hesse Lignal stand out as an employer? What is everyday life really like here? And who are the people who shape our brand? Since the beginning of 2025, our corporate influencers – around 15 colleagues who share their personal stories from their everyday working lives on LinkedIn – have been providing answers to these questions.

They do not speak on behalf of corporate communications, but out of their own conviction and with their own individual voices. Every day, 1-2 posts from our company go online, providing authentic insights into projects, teamwork, challenges and successes.

Every post is a look behind the scenes

Two initiators won over their colleagues

Hanna Hesse represents the generational change at Hesse Lignal. She is responsible for corporate communications and has been our CEO since January 2026. She has been sharing her journey and values on social media for some time.

"I was aware that we as a company needed more visibility on LinkedIn," she says, clearly recognising the potential of the rapidly growing business network LinkedIn.
"The power lies in the team, because many stories show the big picture of Hesse Lignal," adds Silke Petzel, social media coordinator, who ultimately launched the programme together with Hanna Hesse.

The conviction of the two is the foundation of the ambassador programme:  transparency through diversity, credibility and authenticity.

How it all began:

From idea to community

At the turn of the year 2024/2025, we launched an internal call for participants – and were overwhelmed by the interest. Many colleagues wanted to share their perspectives and show what motivates them at Hesse Lignal.

In spring 2025, a professional kick-off meeting brought everyone together: LinkedIn basics for beginners, special features of the platform, success stories from other companies, and above all, encouragement to take the step onto the LinkedIn stage and find their own voice.

What followed was particularly valuable. In workshops, we worked together to identify the individual strengths and brand essence of each participant. The basic belief is that "everyone is an expert in their own right". These sessions helped the budding brand ambassadors to sharpen their personal perspective and communicate with confidence.

How the programme works today:

Our brand ambassadors post at different frequencies, depending on their personal capacity and inspiration. Some share their experiences weekly, others less frequently. This flexibility is intentional. The programme is based on voluntary participation, not obligation.

Most posts carry the hashtag #lackschnacker – a connecting element that brings the individual stories together into a common narrative and at the same time highlights the diversity at Hesse Lignal.
