The right stains give each piece of wood character, depth and expression. But what if creativity, functionality and environmental awareness are not mutually exclusive, but mutually reinforcing?
This is exactly where our new, water-based stains come in. They are an intermediate result in the middle of our transformation process: we have not produced or sold any more solvent-based stains since the end of 2023. In the past months, we have worked intensively on sustainable alternatives. Now we have added a number of highlights to our product range.
Why only water-based stains?
Because we are taking responsibility – for the environment, for the health of the processors and for the rooms in which people live. By 2030, we will have replaced all the solvent-based products in our product range with sustainable alternatives and will be relying on regenerative raw materials. Our goals are to reduce the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and to achieve maximum resource conservation.
