FANTASTIC-NATURA DA 48660
FANTASTIC-NATURA is a solvent-based, non-scorching, scratch-resistant PU natural wood effect varnish. The free of aromatic substances and light fast multicoat lacquer can be used on both light-coloured and bleached wood. The natural character, wood feel and wood colour tone remain almost unchanged. Application on dark-coloured wood is also possible and gives the surfaces a cool, dull matt appearance. FANTASTIC-NATURA achieves exceptionally good chemical and mechanical resistance thanks to its high degree of cross-linking.

Areas of application
FANTASTIC-NATURA can be used on almost all indoor wooden furniture, as well as on carcasses and kitchen cabinet fronts. It can also be used as a lightening basecoat in combination with Hesse FANTASTIC-CLEAR in the four different gloss levels or with FANTASTIC-CLEAR ULTRAMATT, for example.

| Processing information | Hardening of FANTASTIC-NATURA in a mixing ratio (by volume) of 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4071 is recommended! However, FANTASTIC-NATURA can optionally be processed in a mixing ratio (volume) of 10 : 1 with PU Hardener DR 4070. When hardening with DR 4070, we do not recommend coating wooden surfaces in damp rooms or kitchens. A slight deviation in the brightening effect in the hardening between DR 4071 and DR 4070 cannot be ruled out. A hardener type should therefore be agreed within a project.For the application of FANTASTIC-NATURA on dark wood species, a higher addition of thinner (20% DV 494 / DV 4994 in relation to the base coat) is recommended. We recommend the use of DV 4935 thinner for application via the Spaying machine. Screening with < 75 µ of FANTASTIC-NATURA has a negative influence on the natural wood effect.When used as a low-flammable coating for seagoing vessels according to SOLAS 74/88 Reg. II-2/3, II-2/5 and II-2/6, latest version, IMO Resolution MSC.36(63)-(1994 HSC-Code) 7, IMO Resolution MSC.97(73)-(2000 HSC-Code) 7, this product can only be combined with other approved and technically suitable products. The maximum wet application[1] rate when using this product as a low-flammable coating for seagoing vessels is 250 g/m². This product is only suitable as a low-flammable coating for seagoing vessels in the standard hardening, not with the optional hardenings! |
| Special notes | Adding max. 2 % SUN-EX ZD 9501 Light protection agent in relation to the base lacquer can be effective in delaying wood discolouration due to UV radiation.FANTASTIC-NATURA must be stirred carefully before mixing with hardener. We also recommend stirring FANTASTIC-NATURA mixed with hardener after a longer processing pause! A combination build-up with Hesse Natural Wood Effect DE 42900-0003 / DA 400-1 and FANTASTIC-NATURA is not possible!“A risk assessment was undertaken according to Directive 2014/90/EU, Annex II, Section 3. This coating does not pose a physical risk to health nor a risk to the environment when cured and dried.” |
